Programme Assistant – Casual

Club Meadowbank provides Out of School Care and Recreation programmes to the children between 5 – 13 years of age.

We operate from 7.30am – 8.30am and 2.45pm – 6.00pm on weekdays, as this is a casual role, the hours will change from week to week, as is dependent on a few factors but you will work a maximum of 8-10 hours a week including morning and afternoon. We operate from 8.00am – 6.00pm during the school holidays so there is the potential for more hours over these times.

We are currently looking for another fantastic Programme Assistant to join our team!

You will be assisting in the day-to-day running of the programme, ensuring that all children attending receive competent and appropriate supervision at all times. This includes preparing healthy snacks, running fun activities and help with their homework. You will be engaging with children, managing their behaviours and working as part of the team.

The successful candidates must:

  • be a proactive;
  • communicate effectively with the children;
  • have great customer service skills;
  • be energetic, reliable, committed and patient;
  • Have a can-do attitude.

If you hold a current First Aid Certificate, your application will be at advantage.
