School Sports Overview 2025

At Meadowbank School, we aspire to have students that are thriving and confident, reaching their full potential through rich learning opportunities. We believe in providing opportunities for all students to participate in sports and develop their physical abilities and teamwork. We promote a positive and inclusive environment where every student can thrive and enjoy their sporting experience.

While many of the sporting opportunities at school are part of the school programme we do also encourage students to participate in sports run by outside organisations. We charge a set fee for each of these sports which covers equipment, uniforms where applicable, gear bags, and competition registration fees. In the case of basketball, outside professional coaches are used to train teams which are invoiced directly through this company. For the most part, we rely on parents to step up to run coaching sessions and help manage school teams.
