Parent Teacher Interviews

We have all heard the saying, ‘it takes a village to raise a child’. Meadowbank School is part of this village and Parent-Teacher Interviews provide an opportunity for children, parents and teachers to work collaboratively so all children can thrive. The main purpose of our parent-teacher interviews is to engage the child, parent and teacher in a conversation focussed on your child’s academic, social and emotional progress to date. It is an opportunity for all parties to share their perspectives and to develop next steps on how they can be successful for the remainder of the year. Here are a few pointers to help you prepare!

School Reports

Mid-year Reports are sent home for all Year 1-6 children twice a year – at the end of Terms 2 and 4. These reports are a reflection of your child’s current academic achievement and their social and emotional development using our Meadowbank Learner Dispositions.

The information below will support you to interpret your child’s report and provide some tips on how you can talk to your child about their progress as well as ways in which you can further support your child.
